Africa, a diverse continent steeped in tradition and cultural expression, has greatly influenced contemporary Western art. One custom native to numerous countries across the continent is the crafting of traditional African masks. Ceremonial masks are an essential feature of the ancestral culture of many African tribes indigenous to Sub-Saharan Africa. This artefact serves as the inspiration behind our new logo.

While drawing on her Nigerian heritage, designer of Chelsea Paris, Theresa Ebagua, was inspired by the intricacies of these ritual masks. Captivated, she was moved to repurpose various elements of traditional African masks into the new Chelsea Paris logo. Adorned with this logo, every stride in the new collection channels the spirit of fearlessness and individuality that is the Chelsea Paris woman.
